Willow Corian 12 mm

Genuine Corian worktop cut to your measurements in the colour Willow.

The tone is grey with different coloured veins.

Features:
Corian is a great product in many ways. It's hard wearing and feels warm to touch, whilst being a really good looking product. What's more, Corian worktops can be glued together with a special adhesive, so the joint is virtually invisible. However, this requires some craftsmanship.

Corian is a non-absorbent material, so common liquids will not penetrate the worktop. However, dirt can settle in the grinding marks if the sheet is not thoroughly polished. So make sure you sand thoroughly and finish with 400 grit. Corian sheets can be scratched, but the advantage is that they can be sanded again. Scratches are most visible in dark, solid-coloured worktops.

Processing:
It is possible to process and cut Corian sheets yourself. Use fine-toothed blades and carbide tools. We recommend using a router to get a nice finish on the edges. Grinding is best done with a rondel / eccentric grinder. Remember to round the edges afterwards as they can be delicate otherwise. Do not screw directly into the Corian sheet as it will crack. Instead, mount the sheet with elastic silicone.

Maintenance:
Corian is very easy to maintain. Simply wipe it with lukewarm water and use an all-purpose cleaner if necessary. For more thorough cleaning, use the Corian care kit.
