Clear Acrylic OPTIX R (recycled)

The acrylic sheet with a lower CO2 footprint than regular standard acrylic. Made from 90% recycled plastic. By choosing recycled acrylic you help protect the earth's resources and reduce the amount of waste by keeping the plastic in circulation for longer.

When you choose this extruded OPTIX R instead of a traditional acrylic sheet, you achieve a CO2 saving of approx. 65%.

High clarity. Light transmission of 92%, on a par with ordinary glass

Lightweight. Acrylic weighs only about half of regular glass

Very weather-resistant; can be used outdoors. Does not turn yellow from exposure to sunlight

Does not shatter like glass

Easy to cut with a fine-toothed circular saw, jigsaw, or handsaw

Clear acrylic is a conventional plastic sheet that can be used indoors and outdoors.

Acrylic can be used for many purposes:

- As glass in doors/windows
- Glass for picture frames
- DIY shelving, boxes, etc.
- Aquariums
- A sheet to protect the table
- and much more...

You can easily cut or modify your own acrylic sheet. Use a circular saw, jigsaw, handsaw, or something similar with a fine-toothed blade designed for plastic.

Acrylic has approx. the same impact strength as regular glass, i.e. it can break. If you are looking for a shatter-proof plastic sheet, you should choose Polycarbonate.

The sheet is delivered with protective film on either side.

Acrylic sheets can be shaped when exposed to heat.

Max. temperature for continuous use: 70 degrees
Max. temperature for short-term use: 90 degrees

All plastic sheets are cut with a circular saw.
