    Perspex® Acrylic sheets

    We supply original Perspex acrylic sheets in a wide selection of thicknesses and finishes. Perspex is a versatile material with strong UV and weather resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. The material can be shaped with heat or worked using standard fine-toothed saws.



    Our range includes clear perspex sheet options, cast acrylic sheets, opal, transparent, white, black, and coloured perspex sheets in shades of brown, grey, red, blue, green, yellow, fluorescent, pastel, frosted, high gloss, and matt.     Understanding perspex acrylic sheets
    Perspex is a brand of cast acrylic, specifically polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It offers a lightweight and durable alternative to glass. Perspex sheet products are significantly more impact-resistant than traditional glass, providing enhanced safety across home and commercial applications.


    Applications for perspex panels
    Perspex acrylic sheets are suitable for a wide range of practical projects. Indoors, they protect surfaces such as tabletops and desks, serve as kitchen splashbacks, and form custom shelving or display cases. Perspex panels are also ideal for decorative features and furniture components. Outdoors, Perspex resists UV radiation and weathering, ensuring sheets maintain their clarity and colour without yellowing. This makes them suitable for external signage, secondary glazing, greenhouse panels, and protective covers.


    Key properties of acrylic sheet
    Perspex offers optical clarity matching that of glass, particularly in clear sheet form. It is considerably lighter than glass, simplifying handling and installation. High impact resistance means it is less likely to shatter. Perspex is also easy to work with, allowing you to cut, drill, polish, or thermoform (heat-shape) it using standard tools.


    Maintenance and care
    Cleaning Perspex acrylic sheets requires minimal effort. Use a soft cloth with mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface. While Perspex is durable, minor surface scratches can occur over time and can be buffed out using a specialised acrylic polish.
