Order your Corian basin countertop in exactly the depth and length your bathroom cabinet calls for, and position up to two basins precisely where you want them.
The basin is cast as one piece with the top, leaving no visible joint. That seamless transition has no cracks or edges where limescale, grime and bacteria can build up, which makes everyday cleaning noticeably easier and more hygienic.
It fits almost any bathroom cabinet and is a natural choice for IKEA hacks. The top is supplied with or without a pre-drilled tap hole. Please note that the tap and drain valve are not included.
Specifications and measurements
Thickness: 1.2 cm
Length: Up to 184 cm.
Depth: 47-53.5 cm. A small 1 cm overhang beyond the cabinet fronts is recommended for a clean, finished look.
Basin: Type 7 for a 50 cm cabinet. Up to two basins in one top, at least 20 cm apart - equal to 65 cm from the centre of basin 1 to the centre of basin 2.
Worked example:
If your cabinet is 48 cm deep including the front (door or drawer), choose a 49 cm top.
How to keep it clean
The closed, non-porous surface is among the easiest things to maintain in a bathroom.
Day to day, a wrung-out cloth and plain water are usually all you need - no special products, no fuss.
If a scratch or mark appears, it can normally be sanded away so the top looks like new again.
